"Let darkness and black gloom claim it; Let a cloud settle on it; Let the blackness of the day terrify it.” Job 3:5
Lattes are a popular pick among coffee lovers, but there’s more to this drink than you think. Apparently its rich, black liquid is terrified of the cloud-like froth settling on its surface.
“There were those who dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains.” Palms 107:10
There’s always one black sheep in every heard that enjoys straight up black coffee. These are the individuals we have to keep an eye out for.
“God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.” Genesis 1:4
Nothing says separation between light and dark like a macchiato. This two sided beverage is pretty relatable, considering the darkness of our flesh is always at war with the lightness of our spirit.
Light and sweet
“Light is sweet, and it pleases the eyes to see the sun.” Ecclesiastes 11:7
Even the Bible would agree that there’s no better way stop start your day than with a light and sweet coffee. I think I can conquer for most people when I say this beverage is the kind of “sun” most people want to wake up to.
“Another dies in bitterness of soul, never having tasted of prosperity.”
This goes beyond black coffee. Espresso is the darkest and most bitter of them all. It probably should be called the “espres-Satan.” If drinking this straight up doesn’t put hair on your chest, it’s definitely killing your soul sip by sip.
