5 Tips for Celebrating Easter while Social Distancing

5 Tips for Celebrating Easter while Social Distancing:

Easter is sure to look a bit different than usual this year, so here are a few tips on how to still enjoy the holiday while social distancing!

1. Dress up and take pictures!

We know it’s easier to sit in your pajamas all day, but that doesn’t mean you have to! Throw on some nice clothes and show yourself off on social media, just like you would for any other holiday!

Special thanks to my friends, Sean and Felicia for letting me use this photo of their beautiful family! (PS: You should check out Sean’s meme account!)

2. Paint eggs!

It really doesn’t matter what age you are, you can still paint Easter eggs! It’s easy and fun for everyone in the house!

3. Watch your church’s livestream!

Just because you’re stuck at home, doesn’t mean that service isn’t happening! All over the world, pastors are planning livestreams for their congregants and others to be able to view together and celebrate the resurrection of our Savior!

If you don’t have a home church, or yours isn’t streaming, I’d love to extend an invitation for you and your loved ones to watch my church’s livestream!

4. Have a video call with friends / family!

Even if you’re alone this Easter, you can still connect with friends and family! Facetime, FB Messenger, Houseparty, Zoom... the possibilities are virtually endless to be able to sit and spend time with those you love.

5. Remember.

Remind yourself of why we celebrate Easter, and thank the Lord for His sacrifice and resurrection. Set aside some special time to read the story of the Gospel, and reflect upon the blessings God has given you.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog! I hope you and your family have a blessed Easter! If you don’t already follow us, be sure to check us out on Facebook and Instagram!

God bless!
